Privacy Policy

1. Local-First Data Storage

LongevityOS is designed around a "Local-First" architecture.

• All your wellness data, including daily weight logs, sleep insights, and calculated "Youth Scores," are securely stored locally on your device via Apple's CoreData framework.
• We do not transmit, back up, or store your personal health data on our own servers.

2. Anonymous Authentication

To enable cloud-based features such as AI-powered insights and credit management, we use Google Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous user session.

• No Personal Credentials Required: We do not require you to provide an email address, phone number, password, or any other personally identifiable information to use the App.
• Anonymous Identifier: Firebase Authentication automatically assigns a randomly generated anonymous User ID to your device. This identifier is used solely to authenticate requests to our cloud services (e.g., AI processing, credit balance management) and cannot be used to identify you personally.
• No Cross-App Tracking: The anonymous User ID is unique to LongevityOS and is not shared with, or used for tracking across, other applications or websites.

3. Analytics & App Improvement

We use Google Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the App is used and to improve the user experience. Firebase Analytics may automatically collect the following types of data:

• Usage Data: Information such as how often you open the App, which features you interact with, session duration, and general navigation patterns.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, language settings, and time zone.
• Crash & Performance Data: Diagnostic information such as crash logs, app launch times, and network latency to help us fix bugs and optimize performance.

This data is collected in aggregate and anonymized form. It does not include your health metrics, weight data, Youth Scores, or any content you create within the App. We do not use this data for advertising purposes, nor do we sell or share it with third-party advertisers.

4. Camera and Posture Analysis (No Photos Saved)

To provide the AI Posture Scan experience, our App requests access to your device's camera.

• Real-Time Processing: The visual analysis is performed strictly in real-time leveraging Apple's on-device Vision framework.
• No Images Saved: We do not capture, record, save, or transmit any pictures or video streams of you. The camera feed is processed momentarily to evaluate posture vectors and is immediately discarded from RAM.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

If you choose to subscribe to LongevityOS Pro:

• All payments and billing management are securely processed exclusively through Apple App Store.
• We do not have access to your credit card information, billing address, or payment routing data. Our App merely receives an anonymous digital receipt from Apple confirming that your Pro features are unlocked.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services provided by Google LLC:

• Firebase Authentication — for anonymous user session management.
• Firebase Analytics — for anonymized usage analytics and crash reporting.

We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs, ad networks, or tracking mechanisms that sell or share your behavioral data with external advertising entities.

7. Data Retention

• Local Data: Your health and wellness data is stored on your device for as long as the App is installed. Uninstalling the App permanently removes this data.
• Anonymous Authentication Data: Your anonymous Firebase User ID is retained for the duration of your use of the App. If you uninstall the App, the anonymous session becomes orphaned and is periodically purged by Firebase in accordance with Google's data retention policies.
• Analytics Data: Aggregated analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. This data cannot be linked back to you individually.

8. How To Delete Your Data

You are always in full control of your data:

• Local Data: You can permanently delete all your physiological data by navigating to LongevityOS Settings → Reset Preferences & Data, or by simply uninstalling the application from your device.
• Server-Side Data: If you wish to request deletion of any server-side data associated with your anonymous session (e.g., credit balance records), please contact us at the email below and we will process your request promptly.

9. Children's Privacy

LongevityOS is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your data.
